Police say Warren man set camp ablaze out of boredom

A 20-year-old has been charged with destroying a seasonal camp in Warren by setting it on fire. Thomas Sawyer of Warren was charged with arson Friday, Aug. 10, while being held at the Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset on unrelated burglary charges, according to a news release from Maine Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.
