Rockland officer breaks hand trying to arrest man in domestic threat case

A Rockland police officer suffered a broken bone in his hand Wednesday evening, Aug. 8, as he tried to subdue a man accused of threatening to kill a woman. Mark D. Gagne, 35, of Friendship, was arrested and charged with felony assault on an officer, felony domestic violence criminal threatening, refusing to submit to arrest and unlawful possession of Suboxone.
