Thomaston man gets two years in prison for seriously injuring toddler

A 25-year-old Thomaston man who threw a toddler, causing serious brain injuries, was sentenced Nov. 2 to two years in prison. Joseph K. Emerson was sentenced in Knox County court by Judge Paul Mathews to five years in prison with all but two years suspended for aggravated assault.
