At approximately 2:20 p.m. Oct. 29, Thomaston Fire, EMS, and Police responded to the scene of a crash on Main Street at the mall area.
According to Police Chief Tim Hoppe, Joshua Pooler, 43, of Washington, fell asleep at the wheel of the 2009 Dodge Caravan he was driving south, crossed the road and hit a tree head-on.
He was not injured.
A passenger in the vehicle was taken to Pen Bay Medical Center for evaluation...
