Car strikes pole in Rockland

A car struck a utility pole Wednesday morning, June 6. The driver, Peter Lovett, 29, of Rockland, was wearing his seat belt and was not injured, according to Rockland Police Sgt. Kenneth Smith. Lovett was driving south on Old County Road in his 2007 Ford Taurus when he made a left turn onto Cedar Street.
