A 42-year-old Jefferson woman was sentenced to serve six months in jail for bilking state welfare programs of $53,000.
Kelly Mann was indicted in April for theft by deception and two counts of unsworn falsification for lying on applications for state welfare programs MaineCare and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance, commonly known as food stamps, from August 2007 to July 2015.
