A man who attempted to assault a Union homeowner was injured Dec. 20 when the homeowner defended himself, according to the Knox County Sheriff's Office.
William J. Doniel, 42, of Union, was arrested and brought to the Knox County Jail for criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.
